Shipment of Supplies Going to Mississippi
Tomorrow morning a 53’ trailer full of supplies will be leaving our Nashville warehouse, enroute to the Ripley Church of Christ in Ripley, MS, to help those in that area after the winter storm with so much freezing rain hit that hit the southeast, while other areas received a lot of snow. Many areas in the southeast are covered by many large mature trees, and the freezing rain covered them with ice. The weight of the ice snapped these large trees likevthey were twigs, many were completely uprooted due to the weight, and fell into homes, across driveways, and brought down power lines for 258,000 in Tennessee alone! Many that lost power on Saturday, are still without power, but many ekectruc crews are out working long days trying to get their customers power restored.
The members of the Ripley church should be unloading the trailer of supplies tomorrow before noon.
Please pray for the millions of people all across the U.S. affected by this recent storm, as areas in the Southeast expect another winter storm this Friday and Saturday.
