Supplies sent to Help Elsberry, Missouri after Saturday night flooding.
In Lincoln County, MO, Northwest of St. Louis, 40 water rescues took place beginning Saturday night around 11pm and concluded Sunday morning about 9:45am July 26/27 in the city of Elsberry, MO, after the area received heavy rain, reported as 9” to over 10” of rain Saturday night. The city of Elsberry and Lincoln County issued a state of emergency.
This morning about 10am, a shipment of supplies will leave our Nashville warehouse, headed to Elsberry, MO. We were contacted by the Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ in Troy, MO early Sunday, requesting a shipment of supplies be delivered to the Elsberry Water Department building, in Elsberry on 2nd Street, where the Fairgrounds Rd church members will unload and distribute the supplies. The City of Elsberry gave the Fairgrounds Rd church permission to use that building, so the Fairgrounds Rd church members can help those families affected by the flooding in the area. The church should be unloading the supplies this afternoon about 3-3:30pm
We pray for the families in that area affected by the flooding!
