Send Support to Healing Hands International to Help Venezuela Earthquake Victims

Some of you may not be aware that Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, helps major disaster areas in the United States and US Territories, but not in other countries. We do not send supplies or assistance when disasters take place in other countries. Healing Hands international, also affiliated with the Church of Christ, does work with other countries when major disasters take place, plus much more. Their offices are located in Nashville also, about half a mile from ours. They also work with the people in other countries so they have better living conditions. They drill water wells, they teach groups in other countries how to grow their own food, they send clothing, and many other needed items to other countries. In some events over the years our two groups have worked together when things have happened in the Bahamas, and other locations near the US.

If we receive checks that state they are for support of something that has taken place outside of the US, or US Territories, we take those checks and hand deliver them to Healing Hands. So remember, for support of disasters in the US or US Territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam) send support to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc. To help areas that are not in the United States or US Territories send support to Healing Hands International.
