Help going to California, Kentucky, and Virginia

We have been in touch with Eastern Kentucky since we first got word of the flooding, and have reached out to congregations in the flood areas. So as of 2pm today Friday July 29th, we have requests for shipments of supplies to 3 Kentucky locations, and 1 in Virginia, because of the historic flooding.

The first shipment will be unloaded tomorrow morning by members of the Lothair Church of Christ in Hazard, KY, at the East Perry Elementary School for distribution to families in that community.

The second truckload will unload tomorrow around 1pm Eastern time at the Wise County Church of Christ building, in Wise, Virginia.

The third truckload will also unload tomorrow around 1pm at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ building in Virgie, KY.

Then Monday a 4th shipment has been requested, this one is going to the Prestonsburg Church of Christ, in Prestonsburg, KY and it should unload a 1pm.

Late Thursday July 28th we received word that supplies had been requested by the Mariposa Church of Christ in Mariposa, California, to help victims of the Oak Fire. This truckload left Nashville this afternoon, and will be unloaded by church members at the Mariposa church building Monday.

Tuesday morning, we will have another shipment of water going to the Marion church, in Marion, KY.

Please pray for all of those in Kentucky, and Virginia, and California that are hurting because of these disasters.

If you’re in the Nashville, TN area, and available Monday morning, August 1st, at 10am, we will be packing 1,500 family food boxes at our warehouse at 410 Allied Drive in Nashville.
