53’ trailer of Supplies heading to Salina, Kansas

Monday evening, June 8th storms with winds that topped 113 MPH hit Saline County Kansas, leaving a path of destruction along with a major power outage for 45,000 people. One of the biggest impacts was the fact that many families had their freezers and refrigerators full of meat and food items, that had to go in the trash. They lost power Monday evening, and it was restored Wednesday afternoon in some areas. Now Salina is cleaning up after all of the tree and building damage.

The afternoon, one of our 53’ trailers will be departing Nashville for the Salina Church of Christ on N 9th Street. The members should be unloading those supplies Friday around mid-morning at their church building.

Please pray for the families affected by Monday evenings storms in that area.
